So, I'm not to good at this. I'm not too good at a lot of things, but I am attempting to do better.
I am going to go to a Bible study, geared toward creating quiet time with the Father. I'm excited about it and pray it's a step in the right direction! The author is Priscilla Shirer. I am pretty sure she was created for me to follow. ha I also, have been following the study group for "Hope for the Weary Mom." These ladies are speaking my language.
I have also, just today made a special request of my almost perfect husband. (I mean no sarcasm there, I often wonder what I did to deserve such an incredible man.) If he follows through, it will take him and I both out of our comfort zone and into a whole new world. I simply asked him to not just pray with me but to pray over me. It seems like a simple request but it could have groundbreaking results. I just want the beauty, wonder, and blessing of our family and his and my relationship to never be jeopardized. I feel like the Father downloaded that straight to my heart. A three stranded cord is not easily broken! I pray I report back with major growth.

This has been a glorious day, completely in awe of all of my fb birthday messages. Can you say humbled and blessed? I love reading them. Blessed by EVERY one of them!

My bigs had a TOTS basketball performance. They were awesome! I am so proud of them! They are going to grow up to be Mighty Warriors for the Father. Father, give me the words and the ways, so I may help them grow to be Yours!! Whew, what an overwhelming task if I were to tackle that alone!Thankful, I don't have to!

I am preparing to grow closer to the Father this year and seek out what He has for me, no more mediocre no more coasting, full tilt, all out, sold out! Here's too a phenomenal 2013!

Better Late then Never

The Lord gives strength to his people, the LORD blesses his people with peace. Psalms 29:11

Here it is 4 days after my first post, and I am just now working on another. It's been difficult couple of days recovering from surgery, and Kate was diagnsised with RSV. It's a rough virus and often babies are hospitalized because of it. Thankfully, we caught it early and are doing breathing treatments. The fun has been she and I have done a lot of snuggling, catching up from sickness.

Kyle asked today what my goals are 2013.  I'm praying about it. My greatest goal is to spend more time with my kids and to make sure they feel loved and appreciated. And my prayer for all of us, is for the Father to place true, lifelong friends in our lives. I want my boys to be best friends, but I also want them to have a buddy who will be true to them.

Another goal is, I really want to try out this blog thing.

There comes a point in your life when you realize who really matters, who never did, and who always will. ~Unknown

A New Place to be

For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. Jeremiah 29:11

This year has already started out different. First of all, day number one was spent, spread out. Kyle and I were in Oklahoma City in the hospital, and the kids were home with the grandmas. On December 31, I had a hysterectomy. After 4 beautiful, perfect kids we are ready to move to a new phase of our lives.

With the major life change that we just made, I have great plans to make more life adjustments! So here goes nothing or perhaps something. Irregardless what mine or Kyle's plans are the most important plans are following the plans that the Father has.
